The Boho Minimalistic Wedding Of Rachel & Taro at Akiin Tulum
Rachel and Taro contacted us more than 1 year in advance for their wedding, they wanted to celebrate in Tulum and from all the venues we recommend our favorite: Akiin Tulum! We love it so much because its great price value, curfew is at 1:00 am unlike other places and hotels in Tulum that end the event at 11:00 p.m / 12:00 p.m. and we believe this is not enough! Plus Akiin doesn’t require room blocking so guests can stay anywhere they want for your Tulum Wedding.
This love story starts when they met at a mutual friends party, and Taro ended up being Rachel’s opponent for a drinking game. Competition turned into flirting, and the next thing they knew, they were joking about their future kids’ names!
Taro was raised in Germany and Rachel’s family is from the US, Mexico was an excuse to have a group vacation where families and friends could spend quality time together. Plus, it felt more fair if everyone had to travel.
The Getting Ready
Rachel loved the work of the make up artist Zoe Elizabeth and he booked her to beautify her with a natural bohemian look to highlight her beauty (she already looks like a doll, right?!).
The dress was an A-line style from Truvelle Bridal with a soft tulle skirt. Taro chose a burgundy suit with matching tie to complete their perfect look.
The symbolic beach ceremony was performed by a friend of Taro’s dad, who couldn’t travel due to his health condition.
It was so emotional and beautiful, we all shed tears!
